About Us

Hodges, Judy and Associates, founded in 1958, is an independent real estate appraisal firm servicing individual and institutional clients throughout the southern West Virginia counties of Greenbrier, Monroe and Pocahontas. Under the direction of Aaron E. Judy, the firm strives to meet its most important business objectives of providing clients with accurate, unbiased analyses and opinions regarding values in real property. In recognition of their ethical responsibilities, the firm's focal point is centered on maintaining a well trained staff dedicated to professionalism. To that end we also take great pride in our comprehensive data sources and "state of the art" support facilities, which further augment our technical competency. Aaron E. Judy, Owner

Aaron Judy took over in January 2003. Some positive changes that Aaron has brought about include conversion to digital cameras and GPS, implementation of a la mode appraisal software, and improvement of our EDI capabilites, among others. Aaron was once the president of a bank and is very knowledgeable about the current business world.

Archie L. Brackens, Certified General Appraiser, WV #CG078

Archie has over 30 years of experience in appraising commercial and income producing properties. He was employed at the West Virginia Division of Highways for a number of years in which he performed acquisitions, relocations, appraisals, etc. He was also a school teacher at one time.

Sandra S. Tuckwiller, Certified Residential Appraiser #CR0283

Sandy is a graduate of Fairmont State College. She has been a full-time appraiser since 1990, became licensed in 1992 and certified in 1995. She is very thorough in her work. Prior to working with us, her and her father-in-law, Dave Tuckwiller, appraised together.

Barry M. Wise, Licensed Residential Appraiser #LR0811

Barry began work at Hodges, Judy and Associates in March 2003. Barry's skills go beyond that of residential appraising; he has had previous experience in equipment and timber appraising as well. He has also owned and operated farms and rental properties for many years.

Andrea L. Morgan, Office Manager

Andrea manages all internal and production activities. Additionally, she acts as assignment coordinator and personal secretary for the entire staff. She is a Greenbrier County native and is very familiar with our service area and products and services. We feel very fortunate to have Andrea being our first contact with clients and potential clients.
